Innovation Project H.O.W.

Over the past couple of years of my school education, I have come to realize that I learn and understand concepts much better when I can see them, so instead of writing about what my innovation project was and what I accomplished over my Sophomore year of high school with it, I decided to create a video.

Tori Kadulski (my partner) and I drove down to the beach and shot most of the footage there. It’s kind of a funny story because since the Wetands & Wildlife Care Center (the place I volunteer at) takes care of squirrels I thought it might be funny to try and video tape some of them. We went to squirrel park and spent about thirty minutes trying to track them down, but every time we were close they scurried back down their burrows.

Then, we went back to my house and recorded the voice overs about what did or did not happen with our project over the year.

Tori didn’t really know how to edit videos so I edited and composed the video which actually turned out better than I had planned it to.

Enjoy (:

So this is from a page in my Wreck This Book book that I received for Christmas. By the way I love it and I recommend you guys buy it if you’re into that artsy, creative output.

Music Diary

A few years ago I was wandering the oh-so-deep realms of YouTube when I discovered a song called I Look So Good Without You by a girl named Jessie James. A couple of seconds into the song I knew that I loved it already. It was one of those special songs that you can say, “I knew it was greatness from the moment I listened to it.” Not only does Jessie James have a phenomenal voice and an insane vocal range, she creates beautiful music, so naturally I am sharing with you today one of her newer songs called I Do. The video that goes along with it is a composition of clips from her wedding in which she married Eric Decker, wide receiver on the Denver Broncos. I sort of planned this to go along with super bowl weekend even though the Broncos lost. Anyways I have been playing this song on repeat so you guys should listen to it and check out her other songs!

Music Diary

I love country music and so why not share with you guys a new song from one of my favorite artists, Hunter Hayes, whom I saw in concert this past summer for my birthday. I really love the lyrics of this one too because as a current high school student they speak to me in so many ways.

I have been so so so terribly inconsistent with keeping up on the silly picture of the week so I am going to give you a crazy picture overload here to sustain yourself if you even read my blogs (like all 10 of you). Continue reading
